When you visit Long Creek RV Park, you have a number of fishing options within reach. If you want to fish in Long Creek, there is a boat launch just a few miles away. Or, if you’d like to do some ocean fishing, we’re only a short drive from Atlantic Beach.
November is a great time of year to fish for a number of species such as Black Drum, Striped Bass, Flounder, Speckled Trout, and Red Drum. Depending on what type of fish you’d like to catch will affect where you should fish and the type of bait you should use.
November is also a great time to visit the NC coast, because it’s much less crowded with tourists and other fishermen. That means that you have the prime selection of coastline or creek water to pick out tonight’s dinner.
Once you’re done fishing, you can come back to our campground and warm up around the community fire pit. Or, you can cook up your fresh catch under our covered pavilion, set up with picnic tables and a BBQ grill.
